• Johnny Depp sells home in France - Hollywood star doesn't just own a house - but a whole village!

Actor Johnny Depp is putting a whole village in France up for sale as he sells the home he created with his ex-partner Vanessa Paradis for US$26 million.

Johnny Depp spent over US$10 million restoring the village, which he purchased in 2001, but he has now decided, according to sources close to the actor, that it "was time to move on" after separating from Vanessa.

The property is a sprawling 15 hectare estate in southern France. It features more that a dozen buildings offering 1000 sq.m of living space, including 12 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.

The main house in the Provencal hamlet, dated from 1812, is 400 sq.m and boasts 5 bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms and an art studio.

Other buildings feature a restaurant and bar which is now used as a dining room, a church which has been converted into a guest house, various guest cottages and a wine cave based on a "pirates of the Caribbean" set.

Outdoors the property features a large swimming pool with a sandy beach and bar, a second smaller pool and a skate park. The landscaped gardens feature vines, olive trees and a vegetable patch.

Johnny Depp is not just selling the village, but also all of his furniture and a great many personal belongings. The bohemian atmosphere created by Johnny creates a one-of-a-kind home.
DAN CARTER tells MIKE PHILLIPS: 'England are in the driving seat for the Grand Slam... But let's hope the French can trip them up!

It’s the calm before the storm in Paris as France await the arrival of England for Saturday’s Grand Slam showdown.
Sportsmail columnist Mike Phillips plays scrum-half alongside All Blacks fly-half legend Dan Carter for Racing 92 in Paris.
The two friends caught up over coffee in the French capital to discuss whether Eddie Jones’ side can finish the job, or if Les Bleus will turn up to spoil the party.

PHILLIPS: I've retired from Wales so it’s been the first Six Nations without me for more than a decade. The viewing figures may have suffered, but what have you made of it?
CARTER: I thought you’d retired two or three years ago (laughs). To be honest, I didn't watch too many of the Six Nations games back in New Zealand.
The coaches take a huge interest in it, though. I know All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has been over to watch.
Since I've been in France, I've followed the games and it has been awesome to see how much it means because of the history.

PHILLIPS: England are in the driving seat for the Grand Slam. France have not clicked yet but England have tripped up at the final hurdle before.
Maybe there’ll be doubt in their minds. Can you see Eddie Jones’ side losing in Paris?
CARTER: France have to pull something out if they’re going to stop England. If you’re looking purely at form, England should come here and win. But you never know with this French side; there’s so much inconsistency. They have done it in the past though. Let’s hope the French can trip them up!

PHILLIPS: So you’ll be cheering on the Racing 92 boys?
CARTER: Well they've got Max Machenaud, who’s a really good No 9 from Racing. He’s been away with France and suddenly YOU are getting some game time (laughs)!
He’s a small fella, but he can match it with the big boys and directs the game really well. Wenceslas Lauret is a mad d
Three Americans and a British grandfather who prevented 'carnage' by tackling the French train terrorist have been awarded France's highest honour for bravery.
U.S. Airman Spencer Stone, National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos, their friend Anthony Sadler and Briton Chris Norman were presented with the Legion d'Honneur at the Elysee Palace in Paris.
French President Francois Hollande, who pinned on their medals, praised the men for taking action in the face of terrorism.
The ceremony was held as the first heroic passenger who wrestled a machine gun from the terrorist was today revealed to be an American professor.

Mark Moogalian, an academic at the University of Paris, was shot in the neck as he fought with Ayoub El-Khazzani on board the high-speed service from Amsterdam to Paris.
The other four men then stepped in to overpower the attacker and tie him up.
Speaking at the medal ceremony, Mr Hollande told Mr Stone and Mr Skarlatos that while they may have been soldiers on that day 'you were simply passengers. You behaved as soldiers but also as responsible men.'
The Muslim kosher supermarket employee who saved several shoppers lives during the Paris attack has been granted French citizenship.
Lassana Bathily, 24, was praised for his 'courage and heroism' by Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve during a ceremony in the presence of Prime Minister Manuel Valls.
Mr Cazeneuve said Mali-born Bathily's 'act of humanity has become a symbol of an Islam of peace and tolerance.'

'Tonight I'm very proud and deeply touched,' Mr Bathily, who went to school in Paris, said with tears in his eyes.
He humbly stressed that he does not consider himself a hero, saying: 'I am Lassana. I'll stay true to myself.'

'People are all equal to me and skin color isn't a matter. France is the country of human rights,' he added.
Mr Bathily was in the store's underground stockroom when gunman Amedy Coulibaly burst in to the Hyper Cacher supermarket in Porte de Vincennes, Paris, on January 9 and killed four people.
The 24-year-old guided terrified customers to safety in a supermarket chiller and has since been praised around the world for his quick-thinking and bravery.
