Masters Attend Groundbreaking Ceremony For Expansion Of Shimen Temple In Qingdao
Monks and masters from several other provinces attend a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of Shimen Temple on March 16, 2016 in Qingdao, Shandong Province of China. Shimen Temple, located along the north side of Dazhu Mountain in Jiaonan City, got built in the year 1166 and was also known as Yuquan Temple for a spring under a stone in its right door. The expansion involves Buddha halls and pavilions as well as other temples which estimates with 76.9 million Yuan (about 11.8 million USD).
