The incredible true-life survival story unfolded after Janette, 52, and her boyfriend, Mark Schroeder, 55, took off for a romantic Valentine's Day drive in California's Sierra mountains. Mark made waterproof snowshoes with a plastic trash bag and used Janette's bra straps as laces as he set off to get help .
