Celine Dion home - Selling her home in Paris’ most exclusive address -
In order to move on with her life since her husband Rene Angelil passed away last year, Celine Dion has begun downsizing her collection of houses. And one of her homes on the chopping list is her private mansion in the very chic, and very exclusive, Villa Montmorency neighbourhood of Paris.
The four-story home features 5 bedrooms and bathrooms; a large, bright living room complete with a fireplace and a mezzanine including a bookcase; a dining room opening onto a large terrace; balconies offering views of the Eiffel tower; and, in the basement, a wine cellar, a lavish home theatre, a fitness room, a spa and a garage.
The home, built in the 1990s, also boasts a leafy garden. It is located in Villa Montmorency, a prestigious neighbourhood in the 16th District, which is gated and guarded 24 hours a day. The private street is home to just a privileged few. According to French media reports Celine and Rene bought their Paris retreat in 2008.
And while she plans to be a home lighter, she also plans to be 9 million Euros richer once a buyer is found.
