Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 27 February 2016: Rio de Janeiro has some of the busiest beaches in Brazil. One of the most popular is the Leblon beach, which is located in the south of the city next to Ipanema Beach. During the weekends in the summer, where temperatures exceed 35 degrees Celsius the place is crowded with bathers. Also, the boardwalk is also filled with people enjoying the warmth. To get thousands of people, the local government increases policing on beaches and beach access. In the sand are mounted metal structures used by police as observation points.
